B52 Posted December 1, 2021 #1 Posted December 1, 2021 Dear all, I was used to be a cloth stuff addict, but I have had the opportunity to get this old collection of crests. Mostly SB, some nice local made and Meyer WW2 PB. I doubt that the lot contains some rare badges but the rendering is nice. Hope not to be tempted to move forward, despite the beauty of the item itself…! Regards, S.
tredhed2 Posted December 1, 2021 #2 Posted December 1, 2021 In the 5th row, 6th from left, is 6869 T Force, If that's real, it's worth way more than the entire collection. (It has the Moorish symbolism in the 5th Army patch, the left upper half of a 7th Army patch, other related symbols and should be HM "A. Augis, Lyon"). There are some other DIs in this Riker that are more desirable than others.
Mr.Jerry Posted December 1, 2021 #3 Posted December 1, 2021 You beat me too it! that one is a stand out.
B52 Posted December 1, 2021 Author #4 Posted December 1, 2021 Dear all, Thank you for the information. Here is a close up of the pointed badge. Made by Augis Lyon, that is right. A little damaged on the red corner but still fine. Best regards, S.
tredhed2 Posted December 1, 2021 #5 Posted December 1, 2021 Dang, typo - 6860 T Force. U got the big salami now. In the 5th row, 6th from left, is 6869 T Force, If that's real, it's worth way more than the entire collection. (It has the Moorish symbolism in the 5th Army patch, the left upper half of a 7th Amry patch, and other related symbols). There are some other DIs in this Riker that are more desirable than others.
