Tentitans112887 Posted October 9, 2017 Share #1 Posted October 9, 2017 Small dog tags grouping that belonged to Manfred J. Wenzel. I believe he was born in Germany and immigrated here with his family. He served in the 12th Armored, 66th Armored Infantry. I could not find anything on the Valor Bronze Star, not was his file available from the archives. Nontheless, its a nice grouping.

MECHINF-A15 Posted October 9, 2017 Share #4 Posted October 9, 2017 Nice grouping! I'm currently reading C-66. This is the story of Company C of the 66th AIB. While I have a hard back edition (published for the veteran's) you can find a PDF version on this site. http:/www.12tharmoredmuseum.com Don't know if Mr. Wenzel served in C-66 but might be a place to start. Very interesting read as well. Best regards, Mike

Tentitans112887 Posted October 10, 2017 Author Share #8 Posted October 10, 2017 Thanks for the kind words. It displays nicely. Would have loved to get more information on Mr. Wenzel, but I guess his story will go untold.
