Tonomachi Posted September 11, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2016 Found this at the flea market today. I checked the Internet and there is nothing on a Guantanamo Bay Archery Association. I don't think they allow military dependents to live at Guantanamo Bay so if this is a club type patch it has to be military related. Could it be some sort of military patch? hink441 Posted September 11, 2016 Share #2 Posted September 11, 2016 Military dependents used to live in Gitmo. I think they still live there. I have a friend who lived on the base when he was a kid. Chris
gwb123 Posted September 11, 2016 Share #3 Posted September 11, 2016 Either way, you have to have something to do while on a remote assignment. Overseas, you often have clubs that include servicemen and women, dependents, and civilians. In Europe, you had a lot of Rod and Gun Clubs, as well as Volksmarch clubs. Back in the 60's and 70's you had a number of base parachute clubs as well. Nice patch.
