lfwises Posted September 2, 2016 Share #1 Posted September 2, 2016 Hello – a couple of weeks ago I picked up a pair of snowshoes and a pair of ice axes, all marked U.S. at a yard sale. I’m hoping that some of you guys can give me some information about the axes and tell me which forum would be best to ask about the snowshoes. The axes are marked US over Ames, are 38 ¼ inches top to tip of spike, have wooden handles painted yellow, and a leather wrist strap. I don’t know how old they are but the snowshoes they came with are dated 1952. I’d also like to know what they’re worth. I’ll try to post pictures but this is my first time using any of the forums so that may or may not work. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.
