Help Needed in Dating a Naval Flight Jacket

This one came out of a thrift shop a number of years ago by a well meaning Grandmother for her 6 year old Grandson....but at the time I was not so sure he should be running around with it....any way to date these easily?

Looks to have a '64 contract date. I have one with a similar label, circa '61. Should have USN punched into the front fly.

Mil-J-7823C spécification g-1 were produced from 1964 to 1966. This one you own is from the second and last Star Sportswear mfg.'s contract for this spéc.
