hirsca Posted August 12, 2012 Share #1 Posted August 12, 2012 Estate sale find this weekend. May have worked at the GD plant in Fort Worth. These seem to be official photo's and probably either sold or given away. Images are approx. 12 x 16. The two pics of the F-111A have the same nomenclature at the lower right. The two pics of the FB-111A also have identical nomenclature. The pics of the B-58 and the B-36 (my favorite) have their own nomenclature. Edges of the pics are white, not blue (camera stuff I don't understand how to correct). Enjoy. Thanks, Al Hirschler in Dallas.

The Meatcan Posted August 12, 2012 Share #11 Posted August 12, 2012 some really nice pix there. I love that B-58 shot personally. All in all, that set was an excellent pickup  Terry
Hawk914 Posted August 13, 2012 Share #12 Posted August 13, 2012 These promo prints would look really sharp matted and framed. I especially dig the Hustler. Fade to Black...
Vahe Demirjian Posted March 5 Share #13 Posted March 5 In this wall-mounted glass case at the San Diego Air and Space Museum photographed by me on September 17, 2017, there a gallery of photographs illuminating the history of Convair on the wall of the glass case, including Convair photos of B-24s, PBYs, and F-106s under construction along with a photo of the only completed YB-60 prototype on the tarmac of the airfield at the Convair plant in Fort Worth (a second YB-60 prototype was nearly complete but not flown when the USAF canceled the YB-60 after deeming the B-52 superior to the YB-60 in performance).
