Brian Dentino Posted July 20, 2012 Share #28 Posted July 20, 2012 Manny, these two Armor groupings you posted up here for us to see are just incredible! Thanks so much for sharing them. Glad you were able to keep these items, and the soldiers stories, together and honor their service/sacrifice. Great posts......

SKYLINE DRIVE Posted July 20, 2012 Share #31 Posted July 20, 2012 Erwin, Are you referring to the work camp building ? I guess he meant the drawing of the castle! It's definitely not Clervaux, I can't put anything local on it so my best guess would be that it is drawing of a made-up castle. Edit: It is one of the gates that enter the old fortress in Luxembourg, which would make sense as Hetty seems to have lived in Luxembourg City. Jeeper704 Posted July 20, 2012 Share #32 Posted July 20, 2012 Yes, I meant the drawing. Skyline is correct, it looks more like those old gates. At first glance it reminded me of the Clervaux castle though. Erwin
SKYLINE DRIVE Posted July 21, 2012 Share #33 Posted July 21, 2012 I think the name of the girl's name was "Ketty", the luxembourgish short form for Catherine, not "Hetty".
