36-tex Posted May 1, 2011 #1 Posted May 1, 2011 Some of the blue on green twill USAF chevrons I have.
ABrangerjoe Posted May 2, 2011 #5 Posted May 2, 2011 I like how the Air Force is the only one who still wears chevrons on the sleeves of utility uniforms.
ffuries Posted May 2, 2011 #6 Posted May 2, 2011 We did get away from it for a little while, those of us in SOS units wore just the leather name tag after we became AFSOC we continued to just wear the leather name tag. Then the whole AF went to leather name tags, then added stripes back to the BDU's, then back to name and USAF tapes and stripes. I loved the leather name tag only version.
Lee Ragan Posted May 4, 2011 #7 Posted May 4, 2011 I like how the Air Force is the only one who still wears chevrons on the sleeves of utility uniforms. I agree. No confusing who is an officer and who is enlisted. It just plain looks better IMHO.
