usmcega Posted May 25, 2010 Author Share #8 Posted May 25, 2010 looks ok Glad to hear it. I scored in on ebay for $140. A great buy at that price I think. I have seen serveral KW USMC covers alone sell for $175.
CUBUSMC Posted May 25, 2010 Share #9 Posted May 25, 2010 Does it have any markings inside the flaps on the tan side. All my Korean War era covers are marked by Blue Anchor Coveralls. They also have the double ribbon EGA stamp on both sides like yours. Liner should be OD HBT and your looks like it is. Your shell has sewn on straps, which means it was probably a WWII shell. Very common combination.

I think marked 1952 or

combat-helmets Posted May 27, 2010 Share #16 Posted May 27, 2010 that's a good one! 1953 Blue Anchor coverall covers are legit. The liner looks post Korea in my opinion however ...
