Need an ID on 2 patches

I know the one patch is navy I just can't make out the name, the other patch is 4 3/4 Inch. Any help is appreciated

The second one is the U.S.S. Forrestal.

if they were together, could be a squadron from the Forrestal ?? Just a thought

They were from the same dealer tons of patches so I have no clue if they actually came together

The top one has something to do with snowmobiles. Seems like there was a set of these made in the 70s with various brands fighting each other. Here's a few more. The 37 patch to the left is a class patch from the USAFA.

I have one too! From 25 years ago. Just figured it out about 10 years back and that pic confirmed it. There are several more not in the pic.

Did a quick look, and the ones I found seem to be: Black Cat=Arctic Cat, Star=Polaris, Ruppy=Rupp. Not sure but the yellow bird could be for Ski-doo, as many of their older snow mobiles are yellow. I also found even more patches with these themes while looking, must have been popular back in the day.
