lucky52 Posted March 12, 2019 #3 Posted March 12, 2019 There might be a date and manufacturer on the back of the plastic one.
atb Posted March 12, 2019 #4 Posted March 12, 2019 There might be a date and manufacturer on the back of the plastic one. The ones I have seen in both materials have makers and dates marked on the reverse.

ccyooper Posted March 15, 2019 #10 Posted March 15, 2019 When I was in grade school we had those in the cafeteria for lunch. Most I believe (metal and composite) were made in the 50's but some were WWII. Not sure about the composite WWII dates, but metal for sure.
