usaf70 Posted April 30, 2017 #1 Posted April 30, 2017 Looking for Identification of the shown patch. I don't know if it is USAF or USN but it doesn't have USN wings. What do the letters C H S stand for and can anyone ID the writing at the bottom.. Any help is appreciated.
tredhed2 Posted April 30, 2017 #4 Posted April 30, 2017 Writing at bottom looks Cambodian or Thai..... and the IATA three letter code for Charleston Intl Arpt is CHS.....
MilitaryPicker1941 Posted May 2, 2017 #6 Posted May 2, 2017 Looks Korean made. The writing on the bottom also looks like it could be Korean
Teamski Posted May 2, 2017 #7 Posted May 2, 2017 It's a frustrating one for sure. I was checking US Army camps in Korea to see if it was Camp H..... Or C.... Hospital Section. -Ski
tredhed2 Posted May 3, 2017 #10 Posted May 3, 2017 I have farmed it out to a USAF Hospital patch expert, who has written several articles on USAF Hospitals and Dispensary patches, all published in The Trading Post. He has suggestions, but they don't appear to pan out yet. He is also farming it out to a study group.
firefighter Posted May 3, 2017 #11 Posted May 3, 2017 I agree that it does look Korean made. Is that a '2/..' on the bottom?
ocsfollowme Posted June 1, 2017 #15 Posted June 1, 2017 You should ask some people in your neighborhood if they can read the writing.......
usaf70 Posted July 20, 2017 Author #16 Posted July 20, 2017 Here is another one that is still unidentified. Any other suggestions?
usaf70 Posted September 19, 2017 Author #17 Posted September 19, 2017 Any new ideas on this USAF Medical patch?
ocsfollowme Posted September 19, 2017 #18 Posted September 19, 2017 Have you asked someone to translate?
vintageproductions Posted September 19, 2017 #19 Posted September 19, 2017 Go on Facebook, there are numerous Korean military collector pages. I am sure it can be id'd there
usaf70 Posted April 12, 2018 Author #20 Posted April 12, 2018 Any new members on board that may be able to I'D this Korean era medical patch?
ocsfollowme Posted April 12, 2018 #21 Posted April 12, 2018 Walk into a Korean Restaurant, order a meal and ask them to translate the words.
usaf70 Posted September 14, 2018 Author #23 Posted September 14, 2018 Have now been told it is not Korean. Someone even suggested Greek. Google translate didn't id it either. Thought I would bring it back up for further ideas or with some luck an ID!

gwb123 Posted September 15, 2018 #25 Posted September 15, 2018 I doubt those script characters are Greek.
