jerry_k Posted March 5, 2009 #1 Posted March 5, 2009 Hello Guys. Today I received from my friend as a gift nice model of F4U-1 "Birdcage" very early version of Corsair plane... The painted is the same like F4U-1 corsair of USMC Ace Kenneth Walsh from VMF-214. Model is from Trumpeter company + some conversion kit for Birdcage version: cockpit and propeller... Enjoy the photos... Jerry K.
jerry_k Posted March 5, 2009 Author #7 Posted March 5, 2009 I didnt find good place to put model on my display right now...
Bluehawk Posted March 5, 2009 #10 Posted March 5, 2009 I love the "aging" done on that piece... especially to the props and fuselage areas from slipstream.
sgtdorango Posted March 6, 2009 #11 Posted March 6, 2009 I like the fuel spillage and grime!!....nice touch!.......mike
