Fake, Repro, or What Holster - M7

Did a search but could not find anything on this. Picked it up at a gun show today, and did not notice it was for a lefty. Any thoughts on who made it for what?

Looks repro to me, black and left handed.

 

It looks well made, if you're a south paw, it looks like a good holster.

Current made repo.Pacific Canvas and Leather offers both left or right.Also WW2 holsters were embossed US not USMC on the front.Boyt did make USMC marked (reverse with date).Dont believe there was a left model made in WW2.

It's an M3 and not a modern repro, but a modern fantasy fake. A serious repro maker dont use the name of a notorious martial holster maker. BOYT USMC M3s have the big US in front and a small USMC on the back.

Many of their items are marked and dated.The cabine pouches are marked ATLAS 1942 as well as the shotgun pouches and other items.

Thanks, doyler I found this exact holster at that site for $40 plus shipping. I gave 30 for it, as the seller said it was original. It seems that there should be some law against a manufacturer stamping someone else's name (Boyt, in this case) on a product they make.
