It is interesting that the US Navy tape was removed but nothing else, an easy restoration! I will have to look at it closer to see if there was ever any sew on collar rank. This sailor was on the USS Eisenhower From a previous thread about one of these, the following comment was made about the placement of that badge. "Interesting note, the badge being above the "US Navy" strip indicates that this item belonged to a female. Males wore the badge on the pocket.
