MKII Grenade with cutback fuse and short spoon

I have a question on this MKII grenade. The fuse looks to be a WWI cutback fuse that has been modified by removing the short tail piece that were on the WWI MKI's. It has a short spoon, but the spoon doesn't have any markings or stampings on it. Would this be correct for post WWI period MKII's?

The fuse and spoon would be correct for WWI and just post WWI MKII grenades. Most short spoons were unmarked. The grenade body shown is WWII.

Thanks for the information. It's been a while since I had a short handle one.

Nice piece!  Here is a Mk II in my collection with a maker marked short spoon and cutback fuse...
