NVA or VC flag help please

Today, I acquired a very large group belonging to a Marine who did three tours in Vietnam - 67, 68 and 69. He was awarded two Purple Hearts, a Bronze Star, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, etc. Much of his time was serving as a artillery forward observer / surveyer. He spent an enormous amount of time photographing the war and his experiences. Those photographs & movies became the basis for an Oregon Public Broadcasting documentary on Vietnam, called "Tripwire". He also did a book. Aside from a large tub full of countless photos, slides, and reels, he brought back multiple flags, a bugle, an NVA helmet, ammo pouches, captured photos & documents, etc. This double-sided flag was amongst the others. I am assuming it is a unit flag, but Vietnam is outside the scope of my collecting focus so I just have no idea. Can someone help me with an ID on this one? Thanks for you time.

It just dawned on me that the VVA flag might be Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 506...duh. I didn't even think of that.

I couldn’t locate a VVA 506 but did locate a Veteran 506 chapter in Connecticut.

This solved it, I think. An Armed Forces Day Parade, Best Color Guard, award plaque to "Vietnam Veterans #506".
