P60 Posted February 5 Share #1 Posted February 5 (Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section -- guidance appreciated if so... thanks) My father, Don Brett, longtime collector (50+ years) and vet (Army, Merchant Marine, US Secret Service, DoD) passed recently. I am sure he was known by some folks here, and was an active ASMIC member. He has left a substantial collection, primarily inignia, patches, pins, books, papers, photos, etc. I am seeking guidance on what/how to appraise these items/collection. My preference would be for friends/associates to contact me if of interest. You can PM me here or email (address below). I have posted some pics to give an idea of what's here. Many thanks Charlie Brett [email protected]
AcharisJT Posted February 14 Share #2 Posted February 14 Condolences for your loss. It seems like your father had a mighty collection, along with a mighty career.
P60 Posted February 20 Author Share #3 Posted February 20 Thanks to all for the kind words, both in PM's and email, appreciated. Have had many requests for more complete and detailed photos..... Once I get things sorted/arranged, I'll post more pictures. Lastly, I'm located near Colorado Springs, CO -- would love to hear from anyone close who would be able to 'appraise' or offer advice on the collection. I'll provide lunch/dinner/drinks!
