Paratrooper helmet

This was a direct purchase from the vet. Philip Sebay.  He won the first ranger competition back in the 80’s.  He said he used this during desert storm.  There was tape around the edge of the helmet that was very dry and fell off. There are a few sticker on the pot under the camo cover.   Never have taken helmet apart to see if liner has anything on it.  An info on helmet would be great.   I mainly collect German WWII. I am doing some spring cleaning and will be posting a few other US helmets for info before moving them.   Thanks Riley

It's an M1C helmet, it has a

Woodland cover with a First sergeant rank, the liner has a 1983 contract number.

The Woodland cover will have a contract number on one of the flaps, the 2 digits after 100 are the year (these were made during the 80's), there will be a heatstamp on the shells interior which will reveal the manufacturer.
