He said he used this during desert storm. There was tape around the edge of the helmet that was very dry and fell off. There are a few sticker on the pot under the camo cover. Never have taken helmet apart to see if liner has anything on it. An info on helmet would be great. I mainly collect German WWII. Nooby416 Posted February 4 Share #2 Posted February 4 It's an M1C helmet, it has a Woodland cover with a First sergeant rank, the liner has a 1983 contract number. The Woodland cover will have a contract number on one of the flaps, the 2 digits after 100 are the year (these were made during the 80's), there will be a heatstamp on the shells interior which will reveal the manufacturer.
