dpast32 Posted September 30, 2023 #1 Posted September 30, 2023 Hello Guys, I recently obtained a partial Group of WW1 items which was presumably once an intact Grouping to an WW1 PFC who served Overseas in France with Company D, 301st Engineer Regiment, 76th Division, U.S. A.E.F. Some years ago, 2013 in fact I had obtained a few identified items to this particular individual & was happy to have grabbed them. As the 301st Engineers was initially, an all Rhode Island Unit, so therefore it fell within my collecting realm. Perhaps my favorite almost the items was an identified RPPC / Post Card sized Photograph of this Engineer, so at least I was aware as to whom the Group belonged. So, last week while I happened across a nice little WW1 Engineer Group In was hopeful I could win the auction as it was on eBay. Thankfully I did, so I can now report that this Group is at least more complete than it was previously. Unfortunately though, according to the Seller, these items were part of a somewhat larger Lot which the former owner wasn't able to obtain. Personally I love to be able to reunite such things when I have the opportunity, & hopefully, just maybe I'll come across the balance of this Group someday ? Best, Dom P.
