Attaching sling to Sten?

these are the two end pieces but I don't know which end goes on which end of my (Dewat) Sten and how to attach?

 

 

Here's the Sten: note holes in barrel surround and that typical stock has three holes.

The right piece, above, and the rest of the sling can fit thru the left-hand metal loop..

of course the moment I posted my query, took a sec and searched the web... 

found this.

 

The curly piece goes thru one of the holes in the barrel jacket and the other loops itself thru hole in stock.
