first number is 11105

second number is 48297

#11105 belonged to John S. Lane, 1st Class Member, 1st Lt. 8th Conn. Infantry

The second number is 18297 not 48297 and I cannot trace it but it would have

been to a descendent of  John S. Lane.

Found a John Sherman Lane that served in the 8th, but he was a 2nd Lt.
