Manchu Warrior Posted July 28, 2022 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2022 I picked this Huey up recently and the person I purchased it from stated that it came out of his grand moms house and it belonged to an uncle. His uncle served in the US Army in Southeast Asia and he had no other information. The Huey is carved out of one piece of wood and I asked someone with knowledge of wood and they believe it is Teak wood. It is 22" long and it actually rather heavy and it has nice detail. Not sure if is piece of trench art or Vietnamese Wartime folk art. What ever it is it was just to awesome to pass on and just wondering if anyone has any information on this item or seen anything like it? Thanks!
