Presentation Ka Bar…We’ll Sort Of

Hello Everyone, 

I just picked this up today.  I’m no expert on Ka Bars. But this one looked legit and it was cheap enough. What grabbed me was the inscription on the blade. The blade is just marked KABAR and USMC, has the thin pommel and is etched To Groc From Mike. Can anyone tell me what era the knife might date from? Thanks in advance for any help.
