ponyradish Posted April 7, 2022 #1 Posted April 7, 2022 This little three pounder has been in my parents house for many decades. Someone found it on the Spring Hill battleground in 1921 and decided to paint it on the ball. It has been the topic of conversations over the years. I am not a collector of cannon balls. Comments welcome.
sundance Posted April 7, 2022 #2 Posted April 7, 2022 Nice. Could you give us a weight and diameter or circumference?
conn Posted April 8, 2022 #4 Posted April 8, 2022 here is an easy way to measure circumference take a piece of string, go once around ball, that is the circumference
ponyradish Posted April 8, 2022 Author #5 Posted April 8, 2022 The diameter is a 1/16 of an inch under 3".
ponyradish Posted April 8, 2022 Author #6 Posted April 8, 2022 Any interest? collectibility? Garage sale?
