cagedfalcon Posted November 30, 2021 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2021 Probably haven't looked hard enough but I am unable to find this specific badge online. Thanks
FlyNavy02 Posted November 30, 2021 Share #2 Posted November 30, 2021 Sorry, I can't identify it but suspect it is a WW II era state guard sharpshooter badge with the large "I" representing Idaho, Iowa, Illinois or Indiana. Good luck!
Steve B. Posted November 30, 2021 Share #3 Posted November 30, 2021 I too do not have an exact identification, but I suspect it will be something for Indiana State Guard, Iowa State Guard. Idaho State Guard or Illinois State Guard. I also think it may be pre- or post-WWII since it is not marked sterling.
cagedfalcon Posted December 1, 2021 Author Share #4 Posted December 1, 2021 Thanks guys! Makes sense now....Iowa State Guard. And it probably was post war. Quite the shooter, Marksmanship Proficiency Award 2 bronze & a silver oak leaves. Chester Danielson 26 years, Iowa National Guard. AG, played trumpet in the band & marksman.
