Need help with flak vest

I got this flak vest for a really good price but couldn’t find a date on it. I’m pretty sure it’s WWII but I want to be 100% sure before I display it. One front buckle is missing, AF-47-430 is painted in yellow on the back. Missing lower plate. Any help would on a date and a value be appreciated, if you need more pictures let me know.

I would imagine it fits for WWII, yes.

Here’s a thread that shows another one similar to yours- there’s also some information on the Rigger Depot website.

The Artistic Furniture Mfg. Co., in Cincinnati Ohio, made these vests under that contract number from 7/44-6/45, per the Major War Supply Contracts list. From what I've seen over the years, these flak vests, regardless of who made them, were never dated on the item itself.
