Rather than hijack someone else's thread, I started a new one.

Just picked this one up from ebay.

It's got some flaws, but seems complete.

It's got the early style boom mic. I actually didn't know there were a couple of different types.

This is actually the second version. The first version had an MK-400/G (for regular-size shells) or MK-401/G (for large-size shells). If you had a regular-size shell, the helmet have MK-525/G headset-microphone kit, but your second version helmet has a large-size shell so it has the MK-526/G headset-microphone kit. The last T56-6 version had the size-agnostic MK-1039/G headset-microphone kit. I refer to them as variant A, variant B, and variant C, respectively.
