Interesting Newspaper Article of letter written by Grandfather during WWI

This is pretty cool as I found this newspaper clipping of my Grandfather's letter to his parents while serving in France July 28th, 1918 Evidently my Great Grandmother found his letter home to be news worthy and she let the local newspaper print the letter. It's a great feeling to be part of what he felt over 100 years ago. Enjoy the read -

I WAS ABLE TO READ IN ITS ENTIRETY, THANKS FOR SHARING, THE MOMENTS A SOLDIER HAS TO WRITE HOME, RECIEVEING AND WRITING MAIL MEANS EVERYTHING TO A GI A LONG AWAY FROM FAMILY.

U r correct, pretty cool to read something, family-related, from so long ago.

 

Reminded me of my mom sending me super thick socks and lots of Kool Aid 50 years ago now.
