Oozlefinch at Battery Townsley, Fort Cronkhite

Here is an image of an undamaged piece of "soldier art" from inside Battery Townsley at Fort Cronkhite. It dates to the Nike missile era with the partially lost caption reading "NIKE MISSILES RULE SAUSALITO". There are several faded signatures as well, unfortunately they are too faded to read. Battery Townsley was fairly heavily vandalized with modern graffiti until 2006 when site restoration was started. It still amazes me that this wasn't damaged by the vandals
