Pair of USAF Lighters - 567th SMS/92nd SAW

Hi,

 

Here's an interesting pair of Japanese made Rothco lighters cira 1964 I picked up. The interesting thing to me is that I bought them from two different sellers are two different times but they are very alike and both came from Fairchild AFB in Washington when the Atlas E was stationed there.

 

Here's a shot of the front and back of them:

The back of the 567th SMS lighter is blank. Here's a close-up of the front:

Now the back of the 92nd is very interesting to me. It says: "CMDRS AWARD, SITE 6, AUG 64".

 

A really cool piece of Cold War history!
