I got these two caps recently in a WWII 506th PIR estate group. He was an early paratrooper, and I know they wore caps similar to this in training...but not sure if that is what these are. They may pertain to another family member...

I do not believe those are military, I think they are toy caps made for kids

Look like cold weather liners for construction workers helmets.

Some diverse opinions LOL! You may both be right in them being non military though. The person I bought the group from grabbed everything that looked military. There are some gems but also stuff that doesn't pertain...

Flashlarue is correct. These are not military. These are civilian cold weather liners for hard hats and / or welding helmets.

Thanks! That actually makes sense. Following the war, he spent 50 years working for Great Lakes Carbon.
