Color of WWII Willys Wheels

Hey guys. I have a set of stock steel wheels for my SUV (without the hubcaps) that I want to paint similar to a Willys wheel. I have seen different setups.

Were the WWII Willys wheels OD green or Black? Was the whole wheel and center cap etc. all one color or was the wheel green and cap black?
