Naval Air Reserve Information armband

Not really sure who would have worn this-maybe a Navy Reserve Recruiter or perhaps a Public Information Officer (if that is what they are called in the Navy) It is a great looking armband though with the design and details all directly embroidered into the black wool base. I am guessing this might be 1960's vintage.

The construction of the armband itself is very well done with a black satin lining and two elastic straps to hold in in place.
