Costa Posted July 15, 2016 Share #1 Posted July 15, 2016 arrived today and was very pleased with what I saw. this is the nicest set I have seen. for an 80 year old item its hard to believe the condition is super. the cover has a partial asn on back which is unreadable while it is nicely marked jqmd 1935. surprisingly the leather strap is beautifully marked on the bottom u.s. jqmd 1935. under a flap there are initials A.S.S. canteen marked u.s. aca 1918. cup does not have a date that I can see however there is a name etched on one side WANAT. I couldn't be more please with this item.

'Flage Guy Posted July 16, 2016 Share #5 Posted July 16, 2016 You scored a big one- one of my very favorite Canteen rigs. Here is one of its brothers; yours looks to be in identical shape.
