TCSchultz Posted February 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted February 28, 2016 I found this bullion patch for a WWII U.S. Navy Armed Guard Veteran and thought it was well made so I'm posting it here on the forum. I can't find anything like it online and can't tell what vintage it is but it seems to have some age. It measures @ 3 3/4" in width and comes with 3 clutchback pins to the back so that it could be pinned onto a blazer I am assuming.
TCSchultz Posted March 6, 2016 Author Share #2 Posted March 6, 2016 Just curious if anyone is familiar with this veteran's patch and can place a date to it..
SARGE Posted March 7, 2016 Share #3 Posted March 7, 2016 I have not seen one of these before but it appears to be fairly recent construction to me. Similar to the Pakistan made bullion patches in my eyes, so not too old I would think.

Dave Posted March 7, 2016 Share #5 Posted March 7, 2016 You can e-mail CA Lloyd, the chairman of the Armed Guard Association and ask him about it. It's from the association, so he would undoubtedly know (he's been running it for just about ever...) Here's their website: http://www.armed-guard.com/association.html Very nice badge!
