Collector5516 Posted January 23, 2016 Author Share #6 Posted January 23, 2016 So... I purchased this photo at an estate sale about 15-16 years ago. I just removed it from the cardboard frame and found a luggage tag I had placed there that I also found in the estate. It says "John C Greve". Searching the WWII memorial site, there were several Greve brothers (from NJ) that served. One was KIA in Europe. One was a Marine WIA. It says John C Greve served in the Army in Alaska and the Philippines after being in the National Guard before the war. Could this be John or is it more likely one of his brothers?
