b_hinch Posted May 13, 2015 #1 Posted May 13, 2015 I wanted to post a few EGA finds from the past couple of weeks and I hope to get some informed comments. I'm really looking forward to the forthcoming EGA reference book and I hope it's still coming out. The EGA reference is great, but far from all-inclusive. First is what I believe is a WWII-era officer's dress blue collar set. Marked sterling but no hallmark. Are these H&H and correct for the period?
b_hinch Posted May 13, 2015 Author #3 Posted May 13, 2015 Next is this one I don't know much about, "clipped wing" 1920 enlisted. A little distorted on the anchor fluke.
b_hinch Posted May 13, 2015 Author #5 Posted May 13, 2015 Finally a very cool homefront son in service EGA marked sterling that I grabbed for just a few bucks.
teufelhunde.ret Posted May 13, 2015 #7 Posted May 13, 2015 .... I'm really looking forward to the forthcoming EGA reference book and I hope it's still coming out. .... The EGA reference is great, but far from all-inclusive. Yes the book is close to printing this summer. The final draft is being returned to us for review. It has also been sent to a number of premier USMC experts for review and comments. The forum EGA ref sec may be revised next year.
Leatherneck72 Posted May 20, 2015 #9 Posted May 20, 2015 I'm sure with all the EGA experts consulted it will be awesome.
