Hi guys

I bought today a ww2 bracelet with the name of Albert Roman, asn 31410318

On the back it's written Winnie love

I'm sure that it's the bracelet of Albert Roman who died in 2011 and was in the 82nd airborne (notted on the obituary)

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=roman&GSfn=albert&GSby=1921&GSbyrel=in&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=71581549&df=all&

Someone knows his unit, is he appears on a roster or any other informations?

Thanks a lot for your help and happy new year :)

Thanks for your help,

It's the same Albert that I put the obituary : he come from Massachusetts, his second name is A ans his wife named Winifred. No mistake is possible I think ^_^

The informations in the obituary

"He was a U.S. Army veteran; he served his country honorably as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. He was a member of the Northwestern Veterans TGM Memorial Post in New Britain, American Legion, Elks Lodge and the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #777."

But can't find any more unfortunatly....
