Dharmacy Posted December 29, 2014 #1 Posted December 29, 2014 Found this old dump area of WWI equipment about 15 years ago. Me and my relic hunting/dump digging partner recovered items from here off and on for several years. We recently lost him due to health issues (he was only 42) and this prompted me to go through some of the stuff we had found over the years. I will add more to this thread as I go through it.

WW2JAKE Posted December 29, 2014 #3 Posted December 29, 2014 sorry about your friend, but great memories and great finds as well
Dharmacy Posted December 29, 2014 Author #4 Posted December 29, 2014 Assorted ammunition. It appears that they burned a lot of the stuff they were dumping, including live rounds. Probably wound not have been the safest place to be while this was going on!
1SG_1st_Cav Posted December 29, 2014 #6 Posted December 29, 2014 You'll need a 55 gallon drum of Brasso to polish all of that corroded brass!
monsoon Posted December 29, 2014 #18 Posted December 29, 2014 Wow, some interesting items you guys found. Thanks for sharing!
