I believe he was dual member in 2 local GAR Halls. There are some letters that were sent to his wife by her school teacher who I believe I was told was killed in the war but have not researched that. There is a picture of his wife, his discharge, GAR membership badge, 3 GAR membership badges, one ribbon from gathering. His wedding certificate, a cdv of him, Clinton, IA. membership books, 2 coins, and a picture of his wife, and a few other items.
