Glider-borne Posted December 3, 2013 Share #1 Posted December 3, 2013 Hi everyone, Some years ago, I bought a browning maching gun who comes from Mayenne/Maine-et-Loire/France. Now it is deactivated, like French rules require to do, but that was done just before the sale. Since 1944, this weapon was hidden. Booster is an early type, I have no more informations so it's well marked 1919A6. I added and paint the bipod (the color difference is easy to see). There is a mystery : Why this Browning .30 1919A6 was painted in green ? And who ? (Us army ? ) Not all parts are painted and this was done with meticulously and cleanly. Probably this week, I'll exchange this 1919a6 against a glider part. So before, I would to know why this was done. Thanks Mat
