Randy Posted July 30, 2013 Share #6 Posted July 30, 2013 Your version is actually the 3598 CCTS. The design was later adopted when the 3598 was renumbered the 4523 CCTS after TAC took over CCT from Air Training Command at Nellis AFB in 1958. The 4523 added a crown to the top of the patch and a bottom tab. Later, the crown was removed and just the bottom one was kept. There are small differences with the hornet as well.
