Tinky Posted June 20, 2013 Share #1 Posted June 20, 2013 Hi, Here's my lasted find, the bag came from an old house in Werbomont, Belgium. He was sergeant in D company, 502nd PIR, 101st AB. http://www.ww2pow.info/index.php?page=directory&rec=108225 He was born 22 november 1918 and he died 20 august 2004. I don't know more about him, if someone have picture or other information, that's perfect. Thank you, Stef
1canpara Posted June 20, 2013 Share #2 Posted June 20, 2013 Nice find Stef! I love these old house/attic finds! Great stuff! I've been to Werbomont, I can almost picture the kind of house it was found in! Very cool! Rick

cplnorton Posted June 20, 2013 Share #4 Posted June 20, 2013 Wouldn't it have been neat if he was still alive and you could have reunited him with his bag. If nothing else, than just to get a photo of him with it. I bet it would have brought a smile to his face to see if once again.
Tinky Posted June 20, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted June 20, 2013 Thank's! Cplnorton, yes it would be great but impossible now . In ww2memorial, his daughter left a memorial, do you know how I could get in contact with her? http://www.wwiimemorial.com/registry/search/pframe.asp?HonoreeID=553791&popcount=1&tcount=
Austin R Posted June 20, 2013 Share #6 Posted June 20, 2013 I googled the name and found his daughter owns a beauty salon.
