TLeo Posted January 28, 2012 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2012 I just wanted to take a moment and in some small way of my own, pay a tribute to one of the Greatest Generation who has now left us...my dad -- Cpl. Thomas B. Leonard USMC WW2. Born in 1921 and departed this world Jan. 23, 2012. Dad, you were the greatest in so many ways and I will miss you terribly---but I know you are at rest now and you are now free of all the health problems with which you contended with so admirably for so many years. I love you dad, Rest in Peace ---you have earned it!

TLeo Posted January 29, 2012 Author Share #22 Posted January 29, 2012 Thank you all for the kind words and good wishes. My small attempt at honoring him and all the kind thoughts here are a great help in dealing with his loss. He had suffered with poor health for many years now and been bed-ridden since last October and we had Hospice helping us look after him at home where he wanted to be. Thank you all again...Semper Fi!
