Vietnam era 5th S.F. Group Flashes and Ovals

Here is a group of 5th Group beret flashes and background ovals. Most of these would be considiered "cheap charlie types" and likely seen little use during the war. Excluding possibly the first flash with apliqued construction. While I have seen these theater made flashes on Green Berets from the vietnam war period I question whether or not they were ever worn in country.

 

The FEST flash and oval has always had an S.F connection as I think they were breifly assigned to the 5th group on their TDY service.
