Art Posted July 8, 2011 Share #1 Posted July 8, 2011 Kinda new to patches & have a question about the USAAF small triangle specialist rates. Were these only worn by enlisted persons? They were worn on the lower sleeve I think. is that correct?

Johnny Signor Posted July 8, 2011 Share #7 Posted July 8, 2011 The photos I have seen of them in use they are generally always worn on the lower right hand sleeve of the dress and or work uniforms, I have seen one photo of it being worn over the wearers left pocket on work coveralls . However, as is the frequent case with enterprising GI's, there were unofficial ones made as well. We have a hand-embroidered medical specialist, most likely made in the UK. And it seem to me I recall at least one other, but due to early onset senility, I cannot recall for sure. If I think of it I will report later.
