Always hated Shore Patrol. Not sure where this is, but, it’s NOT Subic. Paved streets and way too clean. - Yesterday

One thing about "all original" when talking about WWII carbines is that the ten factories making the carbines shared parts during production years. My Standard Products carbine, from a company that made a reported only 4% of the total carbine war production, has parts that are marked with Inland and Underwood parts. Is it all "original"? Who knows?

An unusual PH certificate that was awarded to a National Guard soldier. From what I could find he was activated and sent to Vietnam. He served as a combat medic with 9th INF DIV / 60th INF RGT -

The last ribbon is for the 1939 - 1945 French Croix de Guerre with bronze palm. The bronze palm is for those who had been mentioned in dispatches at the army level.

Assortment of unofficial unit insignia. Some theater made, some produced for sale to members of the Bushmaster Association over the years.

I am sorry to hear your husband is deceased, and I am glad you want to honor him for his service. I believe the one you mentioned, Republic of Vietnam Civil Action first class with Palm is the only one you mentioned that would have a golf frame. Do you have the ribbons you need to construct his ribbon rack?

It's interesting to see how much variation there is in the enameling of the gila monster, especially where the manufacturer tried to use two colors.
