Here's another one of those topics I love to start. This being the non standard wear of the OD on Khaki stripes on combat and field items, seen one so far, lets see more, post them as you find them as in the other topics I started with stripes.

 

First up, a Sgt of the 2nd Division in France, wears them on his HBTs.

Found one.

 

A Sergeant wearing a set, 317th Eng Bn 92nd Inf Div, clearing a minefield along the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea at Viareggio, March 1945.

Not on a Field Item but rather on a Wool Shirt in the States, a Officer's Chocolate Shirt no less. The GI is author James Jones when he was home on leave after being wounded on The Canal with the 25th Div.
