BigDogMilitaria Posted August 22, 2019 #1 Posted August 22, 2019 This grouping showed up out of the woodwork last week and I was able to make a deal to acquire it. One brother served with the Marine Raiders, and was KIA on New Georgia (Co. C 1st Raiders, KIA July 10, 1943) The other brother served in the 8th AAF as a Mechanic. He had an absolute wonderful photo album full of nose art photos and even a couple of the Champ himself, Joe Louis. Very please to have this group to a couple of local brothers.
Ant1942 Posted August 22, 2019 #8 Posted August 22, 2019 The Brown Bomber himself, that’s definitely a great picture with a great great group you got
6th.MG.BN Posted August 22, 2019 #10 Posted August 22, 2019 Great groupings! It never stops surprising me that family's get rid of their family history. Ken

Pip Posted August 23, 2019 #15 Posted August 23, 2019 Nice paper and smalls! The size I look for when collecting since I do not have a huge amount of room for uniforms and big stuff.
manayunkman Posted November 6, 2019 #16 Posted November 6, 2019 Some great nose art. Solemn USMC group.
usoverlord Posted November 7, 2019 #18 Posted November 7, 2019 Love the nose art! I've got 40-45 nose art pics myself.
